Excellent check in. We stayed in a room in an out building, which was really clean and had everything that we wanted in it. Lovely bathroom (not much pressure in the shower, but maybe we're just used to a very strong shower at home!). Lovely big, comfy bed. Windows that opened. Large room. Breakfast was delicious. We ordered a full English which we paid extra for, but probably didn't need to as the continental breakfast on offer was superb. Fresh fruit salad, flaky croissants, etc.... We only stayed for 1 night as we were at a wedding locally. Very pleased with our choice and would recommend to others

Awesome location, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc & definitely stay again. We had 2 young children with us, usually staying in a hotel room is a nightmare. We booked a luxury suite, had no idea how roomy it would be....just perfect

“So good im keeping this one for myself”

Fantastic find in Yeovil. Great location, stylish roomy accommodation and extensive (whoever wrote cheeky for charging for a cooked breakfast has extremely high expectations! Even premier inn do that! ) continental breakfast (includes hot boiled eggs). I regularly stay away on business stay and this is an extremely reasonably priced accommodation for the quality and service provided. Please don't stay here though, I want to 'keep' it all to myself ?

“Great Find!”

I was struggling to find decent accommodation in Yeovil and came across The Keep - and lucked out! Boutique style rooms, clean, quiet & comfy at a very reasonable price - you couldn't ask for more. Secure car parking, friendly staff and a great breakfast

“Excellent place to stay”

I have stayed here main times but not for a little while. This place never lets me down. Staff are great, rooms are very clean and modern. Room has everything I need for a comfortable stay. Shower is warm, bed is comfy. Only downfall I would say is a very basic breakfast but there is enough to just about fill you up. Overall a great place to stay and recommended. I will be staying here again for sure

On arrival the girl on duty dealt with a problem we had really well. She was open and friendly and helpful. On our last day also the staff person was really pleasant and helpful
The cooked breakfast had no flavour at all!! Although it was cooked perfectly

“A Hidden Gem”

Great location, parking on site an extra bonus. Very helpful staff, the breakfast area and breakfast selection was good. Lovely bathroom. Very good places for evening meals, all within a short walking distance of the Keep.
On a personal note, items on the breakfast menu were not so good, the sausage was really peppery and the bacon was overcooked. The chair in the room had a large dip in the middle making uncomfortable to sit on and work at the desk

“There are better places in Yeovil”

Reviewed by on

Room was beautifully appointed, spacious and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. TV was huge and free wifi worked well. Windows were double glazed but onto the street, with a pub opposite and refuse collection that sounded like it was in the room with me. Resent paying extra for cooked breakfast when the single night, single occupant, mid-week rate was £78, supposedly including breakfast.

“Cooked Breakfast is a cheeky extra”

Reviewed by

Stayed one night in a beautifully decorated and large double room with en-suite shower room and en-suite pavement. It was noisy and woken up by dustmen who sounded like they were in the room with me. There was every mod-con including very large TV, very good free wifi and a large choice of tea and coffee making facilities. However, for a mid-week stay at £78 including breakfast (there are multiple cheaper hotel choices in the town) I resented paying extra for a cooked breakfast. It was absolutely delicious, but 'including breakfast' should mean just that.

“Overnight away from the kids”

We stayed here for 1 night and it is regarded as a Sleep Boutique. We had a very nicely appointed ground floor room of very good proportions nice bed size and bathroom all with nice towels, linen etc. Good parking also just outside main entrance which is accessed thorough a tarmacked thoroughfare. We took the continental breakfast in a small dining room close to reception, this is self service but plentiful with Danish, cheese, cold meats, fruit etc. and tea/coffee served capably. A cooked breakfast can be requested for a small charge. Good place nicely appointed and chic-ish

“Huge room and bath, perfect for a night hiding away”

We had one of the rooms with the huuuge bath in the room. Bath salts and plenty more were provided. Room was nice and warm on arrival with cosy dressing gowns and the bed was very comfy. TV was great - moved so we could watch it from the bath or bed with ease. Kitchenette was perfect for the size of the room with all cutlery etc needed. Staff were so helpful, I had just had two teeth out so couldn't eat the continental breakfast, so at no extra charge he kindly replace mine with scrambled egg :) only downsides being the lock to our section of the apartments required a nack to option and was quite difficult. Great location right in the centre too, secure carpark.

Perfect place to stay. We were visiting Yeovil for a wedding at the beautiful Brympton House, The Keep was ideally located for our stay. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms really nicely decorated, with every facility we required. Breakfast was included with a small extra charge for full English but worth every penny as it was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

5 of 5 stars. We stayed for 2 nights whilst in the area for a friends wedding. We were allocated a room out the back of the main hotel, that had its own entrance, with a separate kitchen area that then led into the bedroom/ bathroom. The room was very spacious and decorated to a high quality. The Kitchen area had everything you would need if you wanted to do self catering, plus tea & coffee/ biscuits etc. We were extremely happy with the accommodation for the price, and would not hesitate in recommending to others

The room we stayed in was very spacious. Room 2 on the ground floor over looking the high street. There was a little noise from the outside road but by about 11.30 it stopped and we were able to get a good nights sleep. We were lucky and were able to get a car park place in the hotel car park. However there were only 6 places available so if you missed out you had to travel round the corner

My first stay at the Keep and a wonderful experience. Wonderful room (15) clean spacious like having your own apartment. Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent continental breakfast included and you can pre order cooked breakfast if required. Ideal for self catering if you are away. I would recommend The Keep to anyone

We stayed in the tower suite. We really enjoyed our stay and our kids loved it. The room was very clean. The continental breakfast was really good with a selection of cereals, meats, pastries and fruit. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We stayed as we were on the way to Cornwall and wanted to visit the fleet air arm museum. Our only concern before arrival was parking. We had no issues, though we could see parking could be an issue if people didnt park respectfully. We are considering staying there again next year to break the journey up going to Cornwall. It's well worth the detour.

We had three rooms one of which is the de-lux. All rooms where a very high standard and very comfortable. the de-lux rooms have a huge bath great for wedding nights. The breakfast as standard is very nice but worth the extra for the full one. the staff very pleasant who went out of their way to arrange bucks fizz for breakfast and that extra touch on my Daughters Wedding night. Well done to the Keep if you're in Yeovil its the place to stay.

“Best Decision Ever!”

Reviewed by on

Last weekend, many of our family and friends arrived in Yeovil for our sons wedding. Back in March I had blocked booked rooms in a couple of Hotels including the Keep. What a brilliant decision was that! From the start, Wayne the manager was very accommodating at sorting everything out for us. There was about 30 of us staying, mostly over the Friday and Saturday night, but some arrived Wednesday, and Thursday and some didn't leave till the following Monday!

Wayne had several special requests including early check-in, late check-in, even the midnight check-in. Guests were mostly arriving from East Anglia and London, but also from Italy, France and Dubai. Nothing was too much trouble and he accommodated everybody, making my job as "room coordinator” very straightforward.

All the rooms were beautifully appointed and all the guests were very impressed. The included continental breakfast had everything you could want although some people paid extra for a full English which was very impressive.

Thank you Wayne and all your team of staff for making our stay so memorable. I would without hesitation recommend the Keep to everyone!

“Five star service and lovely rooms near the center of town”

Reviewed by on

The gentleman at reception was an excellent host, friendly and very helpful with all our special requests. The room was thoughtfully appointed and we so appreciated the small kitchen - just the right size and well equipped for a short stay. The internet was good.\n\nUnfortunately behind the rooms there was a business delivery and they had a very noisy start at 7am loading metal pipes and just being loud when we were there. Not an issue if you are up anyway. In fact, bring earplugs if you must because its worth staying at this excellent place

“Nice rooms but a little warm”

Reviewed by on

The house keeping rooms were nice, clean and well fitted. My only complaint was the lack of AC. It was quite warm and since we were on the main floor we were unable to open windows. We were given a second fan when we asked. That helped.

Good location for town, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and obliging staff. Beautiful bedrooms, large, nicely decorated and the best bed we have slept in. Bathroom was roomy and spotlessly clean. Good continental breakfast, so much choice, served in a delightful dining area. We visit this part of the country several times a year and will certainly book here again

“Nice spacious and comfy rooms”

Reviewed by on

Stayed for just one night. Very clean, modern dining area, rooms large and spacious with tea and coffee, a nice big telly and a lovely modern bathroom. Had a lovely cooked breakfast before we left, all staff helpful and friendly. A good place to stay! We were at the front and there were a few people milling around till the early hours outside so it was a bit noisy but not hotels fault so a room at the back may have been a bit quieter.
